Digital TV in 60% of homes

According to a report attributed to Telecompaper the number of TV homes in the Netherlands is now 7.95 million of which 4.71 million (60%) are Digital TV homes.
Of the 4.71 million digital homes, cable is used by the majority of users with a 53.9% share. Satellite DTH is the runner-up with 20.9%, followed by digital terrestrial (Digitenne) with 18.8%. IPTV now accounts for a 6.4% market share of the total digital TV market.
