Digital transition in the Ukraine

Although the Ukrainian Government had planned to start DTT services in nine regional centres on the 4th February this was suspended after only four days.
Recent reports however say that DTT may soon be available in the city of Donetsk as early as September if funding permits.
DTT is already available in Kiev were DTT services began around a year ago.
However even though some of the launches have stalled, the production of STB’s in Ukraine is going ahead. The manufacturing company Meridian will have the first devices available this month
ASO in Ukraine is expected to be by 2015.
