Digital Switch-over successful

The recent complete analogue TV switchover to a digital DTT in Denmark has proved to be very successful.
In a poll conducted by Gallup, it was reported that only 43,000 viewers (out of a population of 5.5 million) had problems. Of these, it was found that only 6000 were totally unprepared for the change.
During the changeover weekend, (31st October to the 1st November), the call centre set up to answer problems on the launch of the DTT service, received only 4,000 telephone calls instead of the expected 15,000.
The public service broadcaster DR’s call centre received around 800 calls.
