Digital decision expected shortly

TV Barrandov is expected to be the first digital TV channel in the Czech Republic to have its licence confirmed by the RRTV, reports Broadband TV News. The web log cites local reports as saying that RRTV (Radio and TV council) was given 60 days to make a decision after receiving applications for ‘compensatory’ licences from Barrandov and five other companies. If the decision is positive they will have 360 days to launch a service.
