Czech Republic reviews Digital Dividend

The Czech Telecom Office (CTU) has opened the second round of a consultation process on the utilisation of the Czech Republic’s digital dividend, reports Broadband TV News.
This latest consultation will look at innovations and new services in the 470-862 MHz band.
A workshop entitled the transition to digital TV broadcasting and the digital dividend to be held in Prague on the 18th and 19th March will conclude the consultation.A further third round of consultations in the autumn will look at the digital switchover and especially the possible deployment of DVB-T2 and HD services.
