Czech Republic plans DVB-T2 launch

Pavel Dvorak, the president of the Czech Telecom Office (CTU), says that the country plans to finish testing DVB-T2 at the end of next year and possibly issue a tender for DVB-T2 digital TV broadcasting in 2012 or 2013, reports to Broadband TV News. The first commercial DVB-T2 service would then become operational between 2013 and 2015.
DVB-T2 trials are already underway in Prague and will be expanded to Ceske Budejovice in 2011.
