Cyfra+ wants DTT multiplex

Canal + Cyfrowy wants to play a leading roll in Polands emerging DTT marketplace according to Wirtualne Media.
The president of the Cyfra+ operating company Betrand le Guern said that it will not only try to secure one or two channel slots but also an operator’s licence for the second multiplex.
Poland is expected to launch its first DTT multiplex this September, followed eventually by two further multiplexes.
A tender for the second multiplex was planned for release in late January 09.
