Croatian regulator certifies DVB-T2 network

Croatian telecommunications sector regulator Hakom completed the technical tests and cerfitied that local operator Odasiljaci i Veze (OiV) fulfills the conditions to operate digital multiplexes C and E in the DVB-T2 standard, as set down in licence. As a result, the first phase of setting up the DVB-T2 system has been completed, with transmitters installed and in operation at the 12 most important locations in the country, covering 82 percent of the Croatian population.
