Commercial launch for DVB-H in Spain

The Spanish Government is set to approve legislation, before June, that will allow for the introduction of DVB-H services. After approval, commercial DVB-H services could start before the end of 2007 or early in 2008.
It is expected that one multiplex will be available and allow five operators to share its capacity. Up to 20 DVB-H service slots could be made available.
The leading mobile operators – Telefónica, Vodafone and Orange – are already involved in DVB-H trials across Spain.
