ASO plan approved by Anacom


The Portuguese regulator Anacom has approved the ASO plan with only minor changes.
The plan is in three phase and will start on the 12th January 2012 with the switch off of transmitters and relays on and around the coast of the mainland.
In the second phase, which begins on the 22nd March 2012, transmitters and relays in the Azores and Madeira will be shut down.
Finally in the third phase which starts on the 26th April 2012 all the remaining mainland analogue transmitters will be switched off.
