ASO delay confirmed

The expected delay in the analogue switch off has been confirmed and the reasons given are to avoid disruptions to viewers watching the World Cup and the fact that regional elections are taking place in early 2010.
In the revised timetable, the first phase of analogue switch-off (channels RAI 2 and RETE 4) will take place on the 18th May in Lombardy (including Milan), Piedmont, and Emilia Romagna.
National ASO will be completed between the 15th of September and the 20th October in Lombardy and Piedmont, between the 21st October and the 25th November in Emilia Romagna, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, and between the 26th November and 20th December in Liguria.
