Analogue switch-off in 2006 for PBS stations


The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has announced that the Dutch public broadcast services (Nederland 1, Nederland 2 and Nederland 3) will cease analogue terrestrial transmission in 2006. It is estimated that only 77,000 households still rely on terrestrial analogue platforms at a cost of €11 million per year.
