Analogue Switch Off date may be delayed
Broadband TV News reports that the Czech Republic may delay its Analogue Switch Off date until November 2011. Pavel Dvorak, the head of the Czech Telecom Office (CTU), is understood to be in favour of the delay, believing that the existing 2010 deadline is unrealistic.
Despite the proposed delay the digital transition is continuing and most recently with Doamazlice, near the German border, which made the change to digital only during the summer.
