ANACOM provides needy with DTT subsidy


The Portuguese national public association for the audiovisual and the telecommunication sectors of Portugal, ANACOM, has allocated more than €10 million for DTT services to reach across the whole country. The money will be used to provide financial assistance for the neediest people living in faraway areas who have difficulties in receiving digital television signals.
STB’s for DVB-T DTT reception are expected to cost around €22.
