ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium 2013
The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union’s Digital Broadcasting Symposium will take place next week from March 5 to 8 in Kuala Lumpur.
DVB will again have a presence at DBS through a sponsored DVB-T2 Implementation Workshop, a presentation by DVB Chairman Phil Laven on the Future of Broadcast TV (FoBTV) and many other DVB-T2 workshops by DVB member companies.
The workshop will cover the key points that need to be taken into account when implementing DVB-T2 and will include a joint demo showing the combinaton of T2 and T2-Lite with support from Sony, Harris, Enensys and the BBC. Other DVB-T2 workshops will be presented by Enensys, Rohde & Schwarz and Nevion.
Finally, Phil Laven will present an update on the FoBTV initiative.
