23 million residents to complete ASO in 2010

A total of 23 million residents will be affected by the analogue switch-off which takes place in Italy during 2010. The switch off begins on the 12th May when two analogue channels (RAI Due and Retequattro) are turned off in Lombardy, eastern Piedmont, Parma and Piacenza, affecting a total of 5 million households.
To help with the changeover process the Analogue Switch-off Taskforce is launching an analogue switch-off communications campaign on the 12th April and a government backed DTT helpline as well as support for qualifying households.
