The above document is a draft of the next version of the Accessibility Implementation Guidelines BlueBook. It has been made publicly available to make review easier. Material may be added, removed or changed as DVB sees fit. DVB does not commit to a schedule for publishing this.

The update provides a description of accessibility features for television services and explains how the signalling of these features is defined across different DVB specifications. Feedback is welcome and may be sent to dvb@dvb.org, preferably by 30 November 30 2025.


Introduction

DVB-I represents the intersection of linear broadcast television and internet media streaming, offering the possibility for linear television services to be delivered to internet connected devices. The present document defines the mechanisms to be used when signalling accessibility services in DVB-I. The document intends to also include accessibility implementation guidelines for other DVB specifications in future revisions.

Scope

The present document provides supportive information and recommendations pertaining to the operational deployment and use of accessibility features in ETSI TS 103 770.
