Future Vision: DTG Summit 2020
Future Vision, the 2020 DTG Summit, marks the 25th anniversary of the Digital TV Group, the centre for UK digital television. This year’s summit is a virtual, free-to-attend event with global reach and scale.
World-class speakers will probe the technology, business and public policy implications flowing from cutting-edge innovation across the value chain. Attendees will gain a vision for the future of television, with universality underpinned by the vital work of the DTG. In addition, attendees will be able to network with each other and interact with thought leaders and innovators as they speak on stage and showcase their products on a customized stand in the virtual exhibition.
International Keynote Panel
DVB’s Head of Technology Emily Dubs will chair the International Keynote Panel at the DTG Summit 2020.
The panel will consider what a television service will look and sound like by the end of the next decade. What are the attractions of shifting all TV distribution infrastructure to IP? How will the resilience and quality of experience of traditional broadcast TV be at least matched, and how will viewers, industry and government benefit from a transition to an all-IP world?
