DVB-T2 Moves Ahead

Good news for DVB-T2! Humax has just announced its brand new DVB-T2 set-top box capable of receiving the new UK Freeview HD platform. This pushes the deployment of DVB-T2 boxes ahead. On the transmission side things are moving as well, with new HD channels and locations being added in the UK.

In other DVB-T2 news: Austria will be the first country in its region to start testing DVB-T2 during the Soccer World Cup this Summer.
