MHP Standard published by ETSI

Sophia Antipolis, 3rd December 2003 – ETSI today published the DVB MHP Standard as ES 201 812 V1.1.1.

ES 201 812 V1.1.1 “Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB); Multimedia Home Platform (MHP) Specification 1.0.3” is technically identical to TS 101 812 V1.3.1 already published by ETSI.

MHP’s elevation to an ES from a TS represents the stability of the document, and the technical contents therein. With the extensive implementation experience, DVB felt that the time had come to elevate MHP to this level.

MHP services are now on air in Finland, Germany, Spain, Korea and China.
