DVB Hosts Patent Declaration Meeting in Japan

The DVB Project will present its current round of patent pooling at a meeting to be held in Tokyo, on Wednesday, 23 July, at 10.00 AM at the offices of

During the meeting, Mr Alan Kasper, the DVB’s patent coordinator, will present the status of his examination of declarations of patents essential to DVB specifications.  He will also discuss the methodology which he is applying in his examination and the schedule for completion of his work.  Carter Eltzroth, Legal Director DVB, will also be present.

The meeting is open to declarants and potential declarants, members of the licensee community and other interested parties.  In addition to his presentation, Mr Kasper will respond to questions.
