DTT launch expected in July
Telediffusion d’Algerie (TDA) the Algerian transmitter company, is set to launch DTT broadcasts in July, reports Broadband TV News.
Initially transmissions will begin in the three northern regions of the country, East, West and Central
TDA plans to cover 70% of the population by the end of the year with the TV channels, La Chaîne 1, Canal Algérie and A3, as well as radio stations CH I, CH II, CH III and RAI-Radio Algérie Internationale.
The programmes will also be available on Eutelsat Atlantic Bird 3 for those outside the DTT coverage areas.
