ASO completes on the 7th June

Austria will have completed its Analogue Switch Off (ASO) programme when the remaining analogue transmitters covering the Niederösterreich and Steiermark regions are finally switched off on the 7th June.
KommAustria announced plans earlier this year to launch three DVB-T2 multiplexes in 2012 after ASO.
A tender for two DVB-T2 multiplexes is now expected to be released in the summer. The service could add an extra 30 channels in the first half of 2012.
