Tender for two DVB-T2 multiplexes

KommAustria, the Austrian media authority, plans to issue a tender for two DVB-T2 multiplexes this summer. The issue of the tender is part of the 3rd phase of Austria’s digitisation which started on the 1st May, 2011 and involves the launch of two more multiplexes, Mux D and Mux E.
Following the tender, KommAustria will issue the licences with the aim to launch the new channels as early as the first half of 2012.
