Three DVB-T2 multiplexes soon

RTR, the Austrian telecommunications and broadcast regulator, has announced plans to launch three additional DTT multiplexes. All three will use DVB-T2 and MPEG-4, H.264 audio video coding.
Initially only two multiplexes D and E will be offered for tender but these will be followed by multiplex F at a later date.
Currently Austria has three multiplexes providing DTT services, all using the DVB-T and MPEG-2 standards.
