DVB-H coverage now 53%

Additional DVB-H transmitters have been added in Wien-Himmelhof, Graz-Schockl, Baden-Hartberg, Mattersburg-Heuberg, Steyr-Troeschberg and Bergenz-Lauterach increasing DVB-H coverage to 53% of the Austrian population.
This level of coverage was reached ahead of schedule at the end of October instead of the official licensed goal of January 2009.
DVB-H subscribers are said to be in the tens of thousands although exact numbers are not given.
