Telenet first on DVB-T platform

Norkring Belgium and Telenet have signed a leasing agreement which allows Telenet to provide programme services on the Flemish part of Belgium’s DTT platform. The services will be available in Flanders and Brussels.
Norkring has been operating the entire transmitter network since the 5th March 2009 and obtained licences to operate DTT TV and radio services on several frequencies in June 2009. Its plans are to lease its network to more than one partner and it is consequently still looking for additional service providers.
