Kapital Network wins tender for DVB-T network

Kapital Network, the Croatian business channel, has been awarded a national concession to begin experimental DVB-T broadcasts.
The network has been available to consumers via cable, satellite and IPTV since May 2006 and has 500,000 households. With the new concession their programmes will soon be available to anyone with a DVB-T receiver.
The tender issued by the Electronic Media Council was for three specialist TV channels and the agreement lasts until the 31st December after which time a new tender for a longer period will be announced.
