DVB-T covers over 90% of population


The Czech regulator, the CTU, has announced that the Analogue Switch Off (ASO) in the Trutnov and Brno regions took place on the 30th June.
On the 1st July with the switching on of digital services the population coverage of MUX 1 had increased to 99.9%, MUX 2 to 95% and MUX 3 to 89%.
ASO will take place in Ostrava during November 2011 and in Zlin and Jesenik by the 30th June 2012. These are the final regions still transmitting analogue TV in the Czech Republic.
