CDG allows regional broadcasting

The Czech Digital Group (CDG) has changed the terms of carriage on the country’s third digital multiplex, which it operates. Instead of requiring stations to have their broadcasts transmitted to the whole country, in future they will be able to cover individual or groups of regions.
The offer is expected to appeal to stations with limited funding.
