DTT capacity for small Broadcasters

České Radiokomunikace (CRa) is to make capacity available on its third multiplex for up to 11 services using MPEG-2. These allocations will be used to make it easier and less expensive for small television and radio broadcasters to join the DTT platform. The increase from the existing 5 services to 11 will be made by reducing the bit rate available for each service which in turn will decrease the total cost of the transmission.
Currently, Multiplex 3 is available to 85% of the population.
