TV Nova and Prima TV cooperate on switch to digital
Prima TV and Nova TV which operate commercial services on the analogue TV network have agreed to cooperate on digital switchover.
Three regions have already switched to DTT transmission bringing digital services to half the population and four multiplexes should be available countrywide by 2012.
Both the analogue licences owned by the companies run until 2017/2018 and their agreement to switch to digital services will see them handing these licences back early in exchange for digital only licences.
