Digital TV market expanding

Digital TV services are watched by 24.1% of Czech homes according to research data published by Mediasearch covering the period up to and including Q1 2008.
DVB-S satellite services are watched by 11.8% compared with 4.2% a year earlier. During the same period DTT viewers increased from 4.2% to 19.2% of homes.
DTT is now available in most of the largest population areas.
