Digital take-up grows
According to Mediaresearch, 12% of households in the Czech Republic were receiving digital TV services by the end of 2007. Half (6%) of these were doing so by watching DTT channels.
The Czech Republic introduced DTT services in late 2005 and coverage has now reached 40% of the population.
The Czech telecommunications Office is expected to publish its plan for digital switchover by the end of March.
