Possible delay to DTT launch

The long awaited launch of DTT is likely to be postponed following a ruling by the Prague Municipal Court cancelling the first six DTT licences awarded in April by the Radio and Television Broadcasting Council (RRTV).
The ruling is based on a complaint filed by commercial broadcaster TV Nova which failed to  receive a DTT licence in April. It claimed that RRTV unlawfully changed the license criteria during the tender process.
The dispute may delay the launch of DTT previously  planned for the end of 2006.
