Cesky Telecom begins experimental DTT broadcasts

Czech telco Cesky Telecom, a subsidiary of Spanish telco Telefonica, has begun an experimental broadcast of TV Ocko in its DVB-T multiplex. The broadcasts are licensed to cover the Prague and Brno areas and the objective of the trial is to find out and correct any problems that may occur with the introduction of the DVB-T digital broadcast system. The quality of the transmissions will be tested along with interactive multimedia applications.
