Eurovision Song Contest in HD on the DTT platform

The public service broadcaster ETV and network operator Levira broadcast the Eurovision Song Contest final and semi-finals to viewers in high-definition on the terrestrial digital platform. A software based encoding solution from Elecard was used to create the 720p HD programme with a data rate of 5.5 Mbps.
