Digitisation gets faster

The total number of digital homes in the country now stands at 19.96 million, up 580,000 from the end of October. The speed of digitisation is also accelerating, with 400,000 households switching to digital TV during October.
According to the latest figures, 55.7% of all German TV homes now have at least one digital receiver, be it DVB-T, IPTV, satellite or cable. Germany currently has 35.86 million television households.
