Viseo+ launch in Leipzig/Halle

RTL and Eutelsat have announced that their pay-DTT service in the Leipzig/Halle region will be launched on the 7th December.
The new service, called Viseo+, offers viewers 6 television programme services (RTL, RTL II, VOX, Super RTL, RTL Crime, and Passion). All services are Conax encrypted although only two are pay services, RTL Crime and Passion.
The services use MPEG-4 AVC compression technology as previously announced. A similar service was launched in Stuttgart on 15 October 2009.
