China Mobile (HK) gets licence for 678-686 MHz.
The Hong Kong regulator has concluded an auction of radio spectrum in the UHF TV band. China Mobile Hong Kong won the 15 year licence, for the operation of a mobile television service in the 678-686 MHz band.
The licence which will be allocated in July or August requires that 75% of the capacity is used for the delivery of mobile TV content and that 50% of the HK population are covered by the signal within 18 months of the licence grant.
