More than 600,000 DVB-T receivers
GfK Hungaria’s latest figures indicate that more than 600,000 households have MPEG-4 DVB-T receivers (STB’s, integrated TV’s, PCI and USB stick receivers).
MiniDig TV has also reached a milestone with 200,000 users which is 25% of terrestrial TV households.
In addition, the pay-DTT platform MinDig TV Extra has 25,000 subscribers, all of whom have been acquired in the past 10 months. MinDig TV Extra offers 11 television programme services while the free-to-air package offers 7 services.
By the end of April new transmission sites will increase the population coverage to 95.6%.
