Mobile TV for free with DVB-H

Mobile TV using DVB-H, has officially launched in parts of Indonesia’s capital Jakarta, with two consortia providing channels, initially for free, reports Rapid TV News.
Tren Mobile TV, backed by Indovision’s parent company Global Mediacom and Indosat and two subsidiaries of Telekomunikasi Indonesia are now offering services.
Both providers are required by the terms of their initial licence to provide services for free to begin with, so that potential users can familiarize themselves with a Mobile TV service. Commercial Mobile TV licences will be issued later.
