5 bidders want mobile spectrum


A total of five companies submitted applications for participation in the auction of radio frequency rights in the 800 (digital dividend), 1800, 2000 and 2600 MHz bands in Italy, according to the Ministry of Economic Development. They are Linkem, 3 Italia, Vodafone Italia, Telecom Italia and Wind. The ministry will publish a list of approved bidders by the 29th July. The approved companies will then have 30 days to submit their bids (no later than the 29th August). The bids will be opened in a public session scheduled for the 30th August.
