DTT accessed by 20.7 million TV households
Figures published in the December DIGITA newsletter from DGTV say that at the end of September 2009, DTT penetration had reached 65%.
By November 20.7 million households’ accessed DTT services on at least one TV set and those relying on the DTT platform for their primary TV service had reached 13.8 million. This is an increase of 962,000 on the September09 figures.
Since the launch of DTT services in 2004, 23.4 million DTT receivers have been sold.
