Italian digital dividend to be auctioned

Italian Communications Undersecretary, Paolo Romani, has announced that the frequencies vacated during the analogue switch off will be auctioned off, reports Broadband TV News.
The statement came during an interview with Italian daily Corriere delle Comunicazioni, Romani in which he said that an auction will be organised both for the frequencies vacated in Sardinia as well as for those that will emerge as DTT is rolled out across the country.
