Pay-DTT service doubles revenue

The pay-DTT service, Mediaset Premium, doubled its revenue from €45.3 million in Q1 2007 to €108.8 million in Q1 2008 according to Mediaset’s recent early 2008 earnings announcement.
Mediaset Premium offers pay-per-view services as well as a bouquet of three pay services.
By the end of April 2008, the number of active Mediaset Premium cards reached 2.5 million.
