SNRT launches DVB-H mobile TV service

Moroccan broadcaster SNRT has launched a DVB-H mobile TV service, initially along the Casablanca-Rabat axis. The service will be extended to another eight cities by the end of the year and a total of 20 cities by the end of 2009.
The trial service is being implemented by contract with Nokia and will have two years of testing before its official launch. Five channels will be available which include three thematic channels and two generalist channels, Al Oula and 2M.
