Netherlands Analogue Switch Off date confirmed
The Dutch government confirmed that analogue switch off will take place nationally on 26-27th November 2006 instead of the 30th October previously announced.
In this heavily cabled country it is estimated that approximately 74,000 households rely on the terrestrial platform for their main TV reception, whilst second sets in the main residence and also holiday homes account for another 220,000 households.
