Must carry DTT channels on cable and satellite

The National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) is contemplating making the soon to be available 20 DTT channels a must carry for cable and satellite operators.
Doing this would increase the number of viewers for these channels while DTT becomes established and would also be beneficial to the new broadcasters launching on the terrestrial television platform. Cable and satellite operators are said to be opposed to the move.
