Licence awarded for DTT Multiplex 1

The National Broadcasting Council (KKRiT) has awarded four licences to broadcast DTT services in Multiplex 1.
The new broadcast services are called Kino Polska Nostalgia (Kino Polska TV), Eska TV (Eska TV), ATM Rozrywka TV (ATM Grupa) and U-TV (Stavka) and the programming will cover a wide-range of cultural areas including movies, entertainment, news and music.
They will be broadcast alongside the three slots already allocated to the public service broadcaster TVP.
KRRiT’s decision will now be referred to the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) and the multiplex will be launched following the signing of an agreement between the transmission company Emitel, public broadcaster TVP and the four successful companies.
